that we all decided to be musicians, way back when we were kids. It’s about
ENTERTAINING people and NOT serving up the same old tired routine as everyone else.
orchestra kmc is a band, NOT a bandleader and a bunch of uninvolved
sidemen. You won’t see a bunch of musicians sitting down with their heads buried in a
chart, looking at their watch, with a bored expression and a matching attitude. Go out and
see a few bands, and see if that scenario doesn’t pop up a few times.
We will connect with you and your guests. The first step is
getting to know you. We make it a point in our client consultations (NOTE: consultations
is written as plural) to develop as much information and rapport as possible so that your
expectations can be met AND exceeded. On the job, we offer unparalleled flexibility. The
"KMC Method" of taking requests and interacting with the audience is your

Music is our full-time profession.
This is not the typical "weekend warrior" band so prevalent in the special
events industry. This is an organization comprised of talented and dedicated
professionals, who in addition to their participation in orchestra kmc, also work in other areas of the music industry as session
players and in live performance providing backup for a "who's who" list of
concert headliners. The ability to customize and/or theme our presentation - Most bands
have a set routine that may evolve over time, but usually stays pretty much the same
from job to job. It is not uncommon for orchestra kmc
to play jobs on consecutive days where the repertoire is completely changed as
required by the needs of the event.
The final ingredient is joy! It isn’t enough to be
proficient as a musician to make a party come alive. Entertaining people is about
BEING IN
THE MOMENT, and sharing your joy. It goes in both directions, between the band and your
guests. Sometimes it’s done with a sense of humor. Sometimes it’s something as
simple as eye contact and a smile. For some bands, this is a part of their job. For orchestra kmc, this IS who we are. But don’t

credentials include performances with The Temptations, Ramsey Lewis, Jeffrey
Osborne, Chaka Khan, Liquid Soul, Ahmad Jamal, Frank Sinatra, Chuck Berry, The
Drifters, The Marvelettes, The Platters, Fabian, Wolfman Jack, The Shirelles,
Survivor, Diane Schurr, Kevin Matthews, Jonathan Brandmeier, Dennis DeYoung
(Styx), Phillip Bailey (Earth, Wind & Fire), The Ohio Players, Davey Jones (The
Monkees), Peter Noone (Herman's Hermits), Spencer Davis, Badfinger, The Beau
Brummels, Otis Day, and the Guy Fricano Sextet among others.
As career professionals,
orchestra kmc is equally at home performing for society events like the
50th Anniversary of the Neilsen's (A.C. Neilsen) or providing flawless accompaniment
for Rock & Roll Hall of Fame groups like The Drifters. Special party themes are
not a problem and is in fact, a specialty. orchestra kmc will tailor its' presentation for the event,
to the extent that you will be amazed at how much attention has been paid to detail.
